I have to rave about Sally Hansen's Hard As Wraps... I have THE WORST NAILS...they chip and crack and are super brittle...but not when I slap a couple coats of this on! I love that it strengthens my nails plus it is pretty flexible too...it's been 3 weeks and not one of my nails have broken! YAY! So you should try it....plus the price tag is nice compared to other stuff out there...and easy to find at Wal*Mart, Target, Smiths...etc...

Oh Cute...

I have to admit I became way too emotionally involved in the Bachelorette this season. I'm happy that DeAnna found her soul mate in Jesse. I'm also glad to have my Monday's back....seriously I was obsessed!

I am suffering from a total case of the blues. Without too many details, I have been wanting something so much for the past year and have been trying and trying to get it but with absolutely no success. I just feel so sad! I try to be happy for other people who are getting what I want but it just puts me in even more of a funk! Oh well there is always tomorrow right? Until then I have the blues!

Summer of Lemonade

Since I don't drink soda, lemonade is one of my top 3 drinks (behind water and Orange Juice)! I have been looking for ways to re-invent my lemonade to have something different from the typical, pink, strawberry and raspberry variety. I found this at BHG.com:

Watermelon Lemonade

Savor the flavor of fresh watermelon -- in your glass. Puree it and combine it with a pitcher of lemonade (to taste). Garnish with watermelon slices.

How to make classic lemonade: In a large pitcher stir together 3 cups cold water, 1 cup lemon juice, and 3/4 cup sugar until sugar is dissolved. Chill; serve over ice with garnishes.

Yes, it is watermelon lemonade. Can't wait to sit on the porch and drink a cold glass of this!!!

P.S. Come Home

I rented this movie while I was home alone this past weekend. Not a good move for me! I cried pretty much through the whole movie. I don't suggest watching this movie when your husband is out of town. However, I did like this movie a lot! I just needed to hug Josh while I was watching it!

Avon

Avon products remind me of both of my grandma's. When I was a little girl my Grandma Beatty would always order me cute earings from Avon. At my Grandma Lindell's house we always took baths with Avon's bubble bath. I think I need to start buying Avon stuff...then someday I can be like my grandma's.

So excited that Grey's is back!!!! I've missed my friends at Seattle Grace. I hoping that Alex's (Justin Chambers) character is explored more this season. He's sort of a punk but I love to hate him. He's my McYummy!

Laundry Day

When did something as lame as a washer and dryer become a fasion item??? Everyone has there cute red/green/blue washer and dryer to go in there very cute laundry rooms. Aparantly I am not that cool yet...but maybe someday!

What I Wish

I really hate all my clothes lately! Especially my dumb work clothes. I am more of a jeans girl than a "business casual" girl. This is what I wish I was wearing to work today. I really love the Roxy pants (too bad they don't make them in longs!)

Book Conflict

I've recently been reading the Mermaid Chair by Sue Monk Kidd. I've heard a lot of good things about it and I am only a little more than half way through it...but at this point I am really annoyed with it. It's written very well but I just cannot relate to the main character. I just hate the feeling I get knowing that this person is having an affair. The funny thing is before I was married one of my favorite books was The Bridges of Madison County (also about an affair). I guess being married has truly changed my whole point of view on love! I guess I haven't been married 20 years like the women in these books, but I just feel that I made a choice to love one man for the rest of my life and even when that task is hard, that is what I signed up for. Anyway there is my little rant!

...but I do like this

I'm not in any way a fan of Celine Dion, however I find that this song has been stuck in my head all day long... It's not too bad, and I have to admit that she is a very beautiful woman... Don't be mistaken though I am not a Celine Dion fan this is a rare thing and will never be spoken of again!!!

New Baby

My cousin had her first little baby boy last night. I am so excited to see him when I go to Utah in May. I've been looking for a good baby gift and I love every thing Dwell Studios has to offer. Plus they sell at Target now!!!

I'm obsessed with Bravo's Make Me A Supermodel... I guess I like model shows because I have an obsession with America's Top Model too! The finale is tonight and I can't wait to see who wins. Here are the finalists. I hope Perry wins!!! (but I love them all!!)
